Digital Broadcast Manager

NeuLion are setting up a new Technical Operations Centre in London to support a number of live sporting and entertainment events throughout Europe and are looking for strong candidates to help grow the team.

We are searching for a qualified, hardworking broadcast operations manager. This is a full-time position with an excellent chance for advancement. The schedule is mainly shift-based with Nights, weekends and holidays being a big part of the job.


You will be responsible for overseeing the Broadcast Operations Department. This means that each night, you will be responsible for all broadcasting content from source of origination to the playback on web-based and "device app-based" players. In addition, you will be responsible for a staff of up to 100 people who fulfil various jobs throughout the department including editors, supervising editors, and technicians.


We are looking for someone who has a high level of communication, responsibility, organization, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a high-demanding work environment. You will also need to a creative thinker as you will be expected to bring ideas for new systems and improved workflows to the table. An excellent knowledge of linear based editing and sports content is required. In addition, technical knowledge is expected, including but not limited to Satellite and fibre signal acquisition, broadcast routers and equipment, overall video signal flow and some knowledge of app design and function.
