SET TOP BOX
Once the consumer receives the NeuLion iPTV Set Top Box, all they need to do is to plug the Set Top Box into the network and connect to their TV, the usage information is recorded in the NeuLion iPTV Operation Support Systems.
The NeuLion iPTV Set Top Box includes the following features:
- Based on the Linux platform, provides a cost effective, high performance, and low bit rate solution
- Plug & Play with Cable Modem/ADSL/Ethernet connection and support for WiFi wireless network
- Integrated CPU+DSP H.264 decoder design
- Supports multiple channel broadcasting, VOD and PVR functions
- Video quality at 30 frame/s (NTSC) or 25 frame/s (PAL)
- Supports MP3/stereo Audio output and S-Video/YVR/RGB Video output. Bit rate at 600 ~ 800kbps
- The STB can self-upgrade through the network so that new features can be pushed out from the central server
- VOD “trick” features such as pause, fast forward and rewind
- Embedded browser, provides central control, customized branding and lower maintenance cost
The NeuLion iPTV Set Top Box can be branded specifically for our Content Partners. KyLinTV is a NeuLion Content Partner focused on Chinese Entertainment and Chinese Programming. The NeuLion iPTV Set Top Box is branded by NeuLion, in support of the KyLinTV Service.
Individually Licensed Code
Certain components of the software included with the NeuLion set top box are subject to separate licensing terms. This includes both free and open source software. As required by the terms of their relative licenses, NeuLion makes this code, and any modifications made to this code, freely available for download here
