WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are searching for an entry level part-time Web-Based Editor. Hours average 20 to 29 hours per week primarily evenings, weekends and occasional holidays. Wages start at $10 per hour with the possibility for advancement.
THE EVERYDAY VIEW
You will be responsible for monitoring live, professional sporting events while conducting commercial substitutions and editing in-game highlights. You will also be monitoring audio and video feeds while communicating any issues to our production management team; substituting live commercial breaks with internal slates in an accurate and timely manner; compiling specific highlight packages and whole-game archives for immediate internet publishing; and researching daily game notes that may offer implications to effectively edit highlights.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone who has a High level of communication, responsibility, organization, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a high-demanding work environment. Who has an at least an average PC based knowledge. Some experience or knowledge in linear editing is a plus. General knowledge of all sports is preferred, but not necessary. We would also like candidates to have a B.A. or B.S., or some college credits with related experience.
